Abacus Trust Group is pleased to donate £510 towards Isle of Man Breast Care, as part of the company’s commitment to support local Isle of Man charities.
Isle of Man Breast Care has been providing direct support to the Island’s breast cancer patients and their families since 1997.
The charity, set up and run by volunteers who have all experienced breast cancer themselves, aims to support breast cancer patients and families on the Isle of Man, with emotional, practical and financial help.
Working with the Breast Clinic at Noble’s Hospital, Isle of Man Breast Care supports anyone who might benefit from much needed additional funds, and deliver financial assistance to those suffering hardships while going through treatment and beyond if needed.
Outside of financial aid, Isle of Man Breast Care provide informal monthly meetings, bi-monthly social evenings, and can provide key emotional support for patients such as attendance at clinic appointments and chemotherapy sessions, or just a coffee and chat.
