Simon is responsible for all aspects of IT, from the infrastructure and operations that support the day-to-day business, to the development and delivery of Abacus’ bespoke in-house client administration system and its integration with third party systems.
Prior to joining Abacus in 2005, Simon worked as a senior developer for a software consultancy firm providing services to the life assurance sector, and as a programmer working in the railway industry developing and supporting maintenance, operations, and timetabling systems.
Simon is a Member of the Institute of Analysts and Programmers and holds a degree in Accounting & Financial Management and Pure Mathematics.
