Duene is responsible for the timely preparation of trust and company accounts and leads our team of client accountants.

With more than 20 years’ experience, Duene has developed considerable accountancy expertise, providing high-quality commercial accounting, bookkeeping, and support services to a wide range of private clients and businesses. Having worked across the fiduciary, financial services, and business advisory sectors, Duene is accustomed to working closely with other professional advisers to support clients with a broad range of accounting requirements.

In her role, she oversees a broad range of work undertaken by the team, including bespoke bookkeeping, financial and investor reporting, statistical analysis, forecasting, management accounting, and other regulatory returns. She is responsible for a varied portfolio encompassing trusts, property and investment holdings, commercial and residential real estate, and general trading companies.

Duene is particularly adept at managing complex matters efficiently and effectively on behalf of clients. She also has considerable experience in developing and mentoring accounting professionals and managing team workflows to ensure deadlines and service standards are maintained. She ensures that the team remains up to date with changes in regulations, legislation, and accounting practices, helping to maintain a consistently high standard of client service.

Fluent in English and Afrikaans, she holds a Bachelor of Accounting Science from the University of South Africa. She became fully qualified with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in 2021.
